About John
A gearhead who can fix just about anything? Meet John.
It is with that spirit that John figured out that, in addition to fixing up cars and selling them, he could build trailers and sell them.
Every year, John sets out on an adventure to other states and wanted a little step up from the camping tent he always used. He figured other people might want the same thing, too.
Taking a cue from a former job where he helped work on the owner’s motor home, John wanted to build his own version: a trailer that would be compact, impact the environment minimally, and still provide a place to sleep, store trip essentials, and serve as a home away from home.
John has spent decades honing his skills of working on various “modes of transportation” – he once worked for a company where he headed the Research and Development division to create suspension parts for many different makes and models of automobiles.
He has purchased and fixed up quite a few cars over the years – Ford Broncos, VW Beetles, Jeeps, Chevy Blazers, Ford Mustangs, Izuzu Troopers, Chevy Trucks, Ford F-150s, and more.
He’s mastered the art of bicycle maintenance – tune-ups, cabling, wheels, tires, bars and more. He was once the manager of a bike shop in Asheville, NC and “worked for the best” at Wheat Ridge Cyclery in Wheat Ridge, CO.
John holds a degree in Industrial Technology from Western Carolina University. He also has a certificate in welding and as a machinist.
This wealth of experience allows John to masterfully handcraft campers that people can enjoy for years to come.
